redant Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I talked to my bf of 3 months about my concern that his career would cause him to be gone for months and his comment about his ex being just for "fun". Before I brought this up everything was easy and fun and I knew he would be happy to do anything go anywhere with me. Now since I questioned him I'm thinking things are not the same. Should I have just kept things light? How do I get things back to being fun again? I'm thinking that he thinks I am pressuring him or something and that he's going to leave me or push me away like my last two boyfriends. Really I feel sad can I express this to him? Please help!
Author redant Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 How do I not become needy and control my emotions. Maybe I should take Xanax before I see him.
SoulSearch_CO Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Just back down a little - quit bringing it up. If you bring it up again even to say you're sorry, you WILL scare him. Just relax (easier said than done, I know), be chill, show him that you're "cool" and are not pressuring him. Only way to fix it is to just BE that. You can't convince somebody with words. Actions speak louder.
Untouchable_Fire Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 How do I not become needy and control my emotions. Maybe I should take Xanax before I see him. It depends. Do you want to be "just for fun?" or would you rather him have some real feelings for you?
Author redant Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 I def am looking for fun but real feelings too. A strong bond. Yes and I was wondering should I talk about things more. Thanks for confirming not to. I don't want to bring it up. So now I won't. I thought of apologizing but like u said actions are stronger. Thanks!
