To my surprise, she was nice-more nice than she has ever been as long as I've known her. We chatted, she asked how I was and what I had been up to. I asked her the same and she said "Not going to bars". Thats what we pretty much broke it off over. I cracked a few one-liners, and she told me she missed my humor and my cute laugh. I never gave in though, and at the end of the conversation she asked if we could have lunch one Sunday "On her". We have'nt talked in two months, NC on my part. She was mighty sweet on the phone, what do you think her deal is? Also, when we parted company she stated that she "Hoped we found each other together again someday". Maybe she just wanted a little time to go nuts and do as she pleased, then come back when she felt ready to calm down? Maybe the grass is'nt so green after all? I'm not gonna give by the way. Also, no kind of contact since.

"On her" Someone feels guilty. How much is lunch anyway, $20? I'm sure that will make up for all the bad things that ever happened between you, right? I would pass. Hoped we found each other together again someday How vague can you get? Listen to me, I've heard SO many lines like this in the past. It's intentionally wishy washy. Maybe someday you'll be single when she needs someone, is a more accurate. She's saying nothing here, just not being totally honest. If she said 'we'll never be together again' you would tell her to take a long walk off a short pier. People are intentionally vague during a breakup so they dont look bad or feel so guilty. Its a big reason people dont remain friends. Youre thinking, maybe she just needs some time, so you wait. And then what ALWAYS happens is you'll be friends until she finds someone else, and then youre out in the cold. Then, you've been used, lied to, and led on...doesnt give you many reasons to be friends, and at that point, she wont even care anyway. She has someone else. Its hard to resist answering, we all know. But she basically said nothing here, just a lot of BS and wishy washy crap. Until she says she made a mistake or something like that, there is nothing to talk to her about.
