Heidi2 Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 I don't know about any of you.. but I for one AM so tired today... Perhaps it's b/c of the sudden crisp of air.... outdoors.. Or, it's because I have like a zillion-- so to speak... reports/assignments/etc. to study, prepare, and prosper upon.. Whatever the case is.. I also have to go to work this evening.. and won't be getting out of their till 12:30 AM or so!!!! Perhaps, if I get some coffee @ the student center nearby... and put lots of sugar in it, then MAYBE I'll feel better... Any suggestions???
moimeme Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Make sure you've eaten some protein and also that you're well hydrated. It's amazing how a couple of glasses of water can revive you if your fluids have gotten too low!
Tony T Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 I think the coffee will be a great idea but sugar can tire you over time...go easy on the sugar. It contains no stimulants. Also, cut down on carbs. They have a tendency to drag you down in the afternoon if you have them for lunch.
Patty Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 I feel really tired today, too. I think its cause I used up all my energy at work and when I get back,I dont feel like doing anything.I can drink coffee and I still feel tired.I think every person is different though,in what helps them stay alert.Just get enough rest and take it easy. I think I'll take a nap.I usually fall asleep on my computer! Hope I was able to help you. Have a good day and have fun at work. Patty
Author Heidi2 Posted October 3, 2003 Author Posted October 3, 2003 Thanks you guys!! For your advice/suggestions,etc. Perhaps the reason which I'm sort of overwhelmed today.. is because I have these "sudden" group projects & MAD research to do.. that in essence it's been a lot of rush, go, ya di ya type of recent days.. And now that it's Friday.. In essence to me.. it's not so much of a big deal, b/c I in fact have work.. during the late nite hours.... Fun, fun, fun...
