TOWinNYC Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Okay y'all - This isn't directly from the horse's mouth but my friend knows a couple has been together for a long time (like over a decade) and then got married. He (the H) knew she (the W) had a low sex drive before - but my friend recently found out that since the wedding, they've only had sex twice!!!!! (I said TWICE! As in TWO TIMES!) Of course he's complaining about it (to my friend, and NO my friend and the H are not having an A - they really are "just friends"). I have no sympathy for this guy. I want to say "You knew what you were getting yourself into buddy". I can't think of anything more horrific (I mean, isn't that one of the perks of being married? Rolling over and nudging your sweetheart and getting some?). Has anyone heard of anything worse?

fral945 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 No, but based on the married guys I know most marriages are pretty dull and infrequent in the sex dept. It's seems to be universally better until the wedding ring is on the finger. I used to think getting married would ensure you get sex. Boy, was I wrong. All these sexless marriage threads and threads where the man has to move heaven and earth to get some poontang aren't making marriage look all that appealing for us guys. Why any guy would knowingly subject himself to such a life is beyond me.

So, 22 years of marriage = sex about 8 times. next question....?

Maybe a medical surgery is needed. maybe she just not that into him. If I was his friend I tell him look into an annulment. sex 2 times? that's it?? WTF is her problem? Sooner or later he'll cheat to get outta his marriage. If he has no children why is he there, You ever seen a stubbor mule refuse to move that's gonna be his wife. He's gonna spend years trying to get her to move and the stubborness will kill the marriage. if it aint already dead!

fral945 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Would a guy who regularly has good sex with his wife seek out a message board to tell people about it? Probably not. Only someone who is unhappy and needing answers would seek out and find a place to vent and/or get advice. That was way too easy! Yea, instead of making it an issue like the guys on here are doing most married guys I know just have accepted that's the way life is.

Then again you might just be one of the lucky ones...who gets sex regardless.
