marlena Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I enjoy and am attracted to educated women who are capable of expressing themselves in, and out of, bed. That's my preference whether you consider it "kool" or not. So am I, theoretically speaking. Paradoxically enough, however, the people who were able to awaken my baser instincts and drive me wild with passion in and out of the bedroom, were the simple, grounded, blue collar types and not those that reside in Ivory Towers. Never could find that "just right" combination of raw, primitive emotion and higher intellect. If they had one, they lacked in the other. Just my tough luck, I guess.
Shygirl15 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Why do people moan about people moaning on open forums made for venting, moaning, scribing, sharing, advice, help, compassion  Lady, I'm not moaning about anything as it has nothing to do with me anyway. I was just letting her know what sensible individuals would have done in her situation. Trying to put down people she hardly knows as immature and unintelligent will not get her anywhere in the dating world. It is also very rude. Yeah, I'm also done with the thread, thanks. Hopefully I have answered someone else's prayer as well.
Author LoveLace Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 LOL so 90's, I guess everyone is online dating now. I love when people use the busy card, but yet you have time to post here. It's funny that I do not see celebrities do online dating and they are busy all the time. It looks like I made you angry because I said online dating is pathetic. Lets make one thing clear people that do online dating have no options or they have baggage, so they hope a profile can make up for the lack they have in the real world. I also noticed people that do online dating are just weird like creepy weird. Trust me when I say this a fancy text isn't going to make a normal person fall for you. Anyway I'am done with this topic take care and hope you find mr.right. Blonde if you want to find out more about my preferences drop me a pm. Celebrities don't use online dating because duh, for one thing they date each other, and for 2 they wouldn't be dumb enough to make themselves that publicly accessible. So again your argument is weak there. Who said fancy text makes anyone fall for me? A good profile makes them want to learn more, but falling for somebody comes much later, duh. Fas as the "busy" card, yes not only do I have a job but nursing school takes away a LOT of what would be otherwise leisurely time. When I post here, it's in between classes or studying, thank you. When I do have time to go out, sure I meet guys and some are interesting, some are not. If anything, online dating only ADDS to the options I already have. I also have the OPTION not to pursue someone I'm not impressed by, and I have the OPTION to wait around and see if something impressive happens, but why waste your time when there are so many other OPTIONS to move on to. A lot of people don't make it known if they are using online dating. By judging everyone who does it as weird or pathetic, you might be talking about friends of yours and not even realize it. There are just as many weirdos online as there is in the "real world", and trust me, just as many people with "baggage" too. So try again.
blondesmiler Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 "how you doing.was you back at work this week or have you been chiling out? iwas back its bloody freezing, are you hungry? take you for nise steak and chips ,or take me to nise bar for drink would be great. your photo realy good be realy good to get to know you." "what are you up to this week ? ive just started gym again havnt been for a while bloody killer but glad im going.would you fancey going for drink sumtime??" The above was cut and pasted as is from an email from an online dater, not to mention my name which I removed mispelled everytime differently. That was my only point, would stop me from dating a guy but it would be a turn off just like many other things would for other people! And lets face it, we are not talking about spelling antidishastablistmentarianism (which even I cannot spell correctly) just basic everyday words.

Yea..I would have to question that before going out with him...I'd think that it would make anyone wonder, without necessarily rejecting them, you'd still have to wonder...
