griffinchicken53 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 everytime i start working out, i try to do cardio to burn fat, but sometimes i start building more muscle and it just pushes the fat out further. i've tried bike riding and then my thighs get snug in my pants, i do situps my waist seems to expand. any ideas?

anne1707 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I agree with soon2b. There are some exercise that will build muscle up where you may not want it such as the leg press or leg extension. I now don't do these any where as much but run instead. This helps tone my legs (and arms) and burns off fat.
