Is eye contact very important to you? If your walking down the street and a guy or girl locks eyes with you..will you keep your eyes on him/her until they look away first? Smile? Feel creeped out? How about on a date?

There are a few girls in some of my classes that i would like to talk to. I am going to try and use the eye contact method. Look at them for as long as i have to until they look away. When i see her looking at me i will crack a smile. Girls would you be weirded out by this if a guy you didnt know smiled at you while looking right at you not taking his eyes off of you until you do?

in general people look more at things they like and less at things they dislike. this is genetic and has even been proven in infants....

Eye contact means nothing. A girl could be looking at you for any of a hundred reasons. Eye contact, friendly chatting, phone numbers, hair twirling, etc, all mean nothing. If you want to find out if she likes you, then you need to get her as far as a date.

A guy who isn't sure of himself won't even trust marriage as a sure sign she's into him.

My point is that eye contact is not a indication of much. A guy who is confident enough to get a date at all isn't going to wait for eye contact or worry about it if it didn't happen. If you go around looking for it, you can get a lot of eye contact from women who actually aren't interested or available.

indeed...there are many different types of eye contact from females....but one of them is the "i'm available and want you" eye contact. its very easy for the experience male to distinguish.

basically, the better looking the person the more they know about eye contact because they recieve much more of it than the average person.
