Fantasizing your woman to be other women is cheating??

OK, I know it's not really cheating but if when you make love to your girlfriend/wife and you sometimes imagine them to be someone else i.e. a colleague, a friend, a movie star even, does that mean you shouldn't be with them??

 

I mean I love my lady dearly but I do know that men have a much greater desire to stray than women do. Sorry, that's evolutionarily coded. So, wouldn't it be better to not pretend you're not interested in the bodies of other women and instead on acting on those impulses, contain them within your relationship?

The part I bolded concerns me. Do you have a crush or are you sexually attracted to someone you work with? Or a female friend?

 

Let's say if you are fantasizing about someone particular many times while you're having sex with your wife, well, it could mean you're having some issues within yourself and allowing those fantasizes to take over will affect your marriage and what you feel towards your wife.

 

How often are you doing this? If it's once in a while, then it's no big deal, but if you're doing it to stay or get turned on enough to make love to your wife, there are some serious problems around the corner.

 

I like Chris's ideas, talk to your wife and change things up. Make your sex life MORE exciting by acting out fantasies and doing some dirty talk. Take her to a bar and sit across the room, and then go hit on your wife..Roll playing can be alot of fun..

Every once and while, or to get things going that seems to work. Disconnecting from the person you're with eventually has a cost associated with it.

 

On the other hand, every time doesn't have to be earthshaking and a bit of internal fantasy goes a long way.

 

But if every time you close your eyes and think of your neighbor's daughter, well, that's trouble in the long run!
