Kamille Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Academic talks. Most research centres advertise speaker series or public conferences. Stay for the receptions which are often held after the talk is over. This is where you can chat up the people who are present. So pick topics you're interested in or learn to bluff.
Trialbyfire Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 We tend to avoid people who are prone to assault, so that's why it might appear that they're so illusive to you.
BobSacamento Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Bookstores I'd say are safe bets. Democrat meetings.
Trialbyfire Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 illusiveelusive, most definitely a Freudian slip!
movingonandon Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Depends what you mean... Almost any girl you meet will have college education, though having a BA/BS these days hardly constitutes "educated". Girls with graduate degrees don't congregate in specified places , so your best bet is getting your own career in order, so you begin to encounter more of them. And then of course is pure probability: about 1% of girls you encounter will have PhDs, 5-6% Master's degrees, and so on...
stepka Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Well, I only have a bachelor's degree, but I read a lot, so you'll find me at the library.
blondesmiler Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 The same place you meet any women. Anywhere! Agree. Its also better to keep an open mind when meeting women otherwise you might close yourself off to someone who actually totally floats your boat but might not be university educated. I didn't go to Uni or College but I am well educated, smart, I know a little about alot and alot about a little.
LucreziaBorgia Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Do you mean 'educated' as in having a lot of degrees and certificates, or 'educated' as in actually being intelligent regardless of proof as such?

Isolde Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Cafes and bookstores, even if you don't meet someone with a masters/PhD, women who are reading are more likely to be intellectually curious in general.
