gavinus Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 My ex gf dumped me after 3 years, she said she did not love me, I was the reason for her anger issues etc. She then sent me a text which I ignored asking if I was ok. She then texted back saying she was hurt I did not respond to her, I then responded to her "I need time/space for me for now", as I was upset, she then texted back "ok take care". That was 10 days ago and I have not heard anything, my question is do I contact her?? I love her but when I asked for time/space that was the first time in 3 years that I actually told her what I needed. The two parts of me say if she wanted to contact you she would, but the other part says she wants to contact me but won't because I asked for time/space. I am going crazy, any advice would be great It is also valentines day as well

I tell you what, since I'm in a giving mood, if you want I can come over and kick you in the balls, since thats the same feeling calling her will give you. NO, DO NOT CALL HER! If she wanted to get you back, she wouldnt let anything stop her. Problem is, she doesnt, she probably just doesnt want to feel like a jerk, so she wants your 'friendship' which is just a way to obsolve herself of guilt. If you dont hate her, then she cant be that bad. Its funny, a lot of women really do not like the idea of someone hating them. The simple truth is that you do need time and space to get over her, and most importantly, you do need to get over her. Shes not the one for you my friend, and waiting for that to change is going to be an endless cycle of pain.
