lord alfred douglas Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 A man who is losing his hair or another woman?
Isolde Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I don't mind it when a guy is balding or even bald, IF he has defined facial features and is in shape.
Author lord alfred douglas Posted February 13, 2009 Author Posted February 13, 2009 Is this a trick question?? No Im quite curious about this
confused_2008 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I don't mind it when a guy is balding or even bald, IF he has defined facial features and is in shape. Hmm, I always thought of you as being in you mid 20s or something if I remembered right from you past posts. If I'm right that's interesting, if not, sorry.

If I'm right that's interesting, if not, sorry. Some guys in their late twenties or early thirties are balding. I probably wouldn't date anyone above 30 at this point, I'm just answering this question hypothetically. The point is that while I don't like baldness per se, it's not the guy's fault and if he's cute overall it's not a big deal.
OpenBook Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 No Im quite curious about this Well, I know very few men who AREN'T balding in various degrees. Baldness doesn't bother me at all, and it doesn't bother my GF's either. It's just not a factor for us. And I'd rather eat glass than date a woman! That's just not how I roll. So, it doesn't mean much to compare that to dating a balding man. I think baldness bothers men a LOT more than it bothers women. And frankly, we're a bit mystified by this. What's the big deal??
quankanne Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 what's the big deal about going bald? As long as you don't have a spaghetti comb-over trying to hide it, it's not anything worth paying attention to! as to your original question: Whoever has the better personality. However, that doesn't mean I'd hook up *that* way with another woman, just hang out with her because I think she's cool.
Tomcat33 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 A man of any sort over dating a woman, no offense to the ladies but no thanks. Not sure what you hope to get from this comparison but I think most women that aren't into women will choose the balding guy, still doesn't really say anything about what women think about balding dudes.

CommitmentPhobe Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I think baldness bothers men a LOT more than it bothers women. And frankly, we're a bit mystified by this. What's the big deal?? It's all about loss of youth and facing mortality, a guy going bald has to suddenly deal with the fact that he's not appearing to be the young stallion he once was. Though I don't know first hand, it hasn't happened to me yet, and by the time it does there will probably be a cure.
runner Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I think baldness bothers men a LOT more than it bothers women. bingo. just remember: guys don't lose hair, we grow scalp
underpants Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 James Carvel is sort of naughty hot. So, my Lord. Would you prefer to date a woman who suffers from alopecia or a man with a full head of hair?
D-Lish Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I know plenty of young guys in their 20's that are totally receding... I've noticed it in guys as young as 19. I believe it's a bigger deal for guys than for girls. If a dude is thinning/balding- shave it down to stubble...it's a good look.
Tomcat33 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 just remember: guys don't lose hair, we grow scalp :lmao: Yes I hear you. Like women don't really gain weight the world just gets smaller. I dunno while I LOVE a head of hair on a guy I would definitely date a guy with no hair, so long as it does not look like the Hulk Hogan mullet with a melon top.
OpenBook Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 :lmao::lmao: Oh, the imagery. Tomcat you crack me up!!:D
runner Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 :lmao: Yes I hear you. Like women don't really gain weight the world just gets smaller. right. now i just need to start selling pills that 'expand the world.' i'll be rich !
dreamergrl Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 What if the guy was wearing that spray on hair?
KipSkip Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I thought many women like bald men. That's why so many guys buzz their hair or shave it even when they're not balding.
hotgelato Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 If balding hair is the ONLY negative thing about him and otherwise he's perfect, I'd totally date him. For me personally though, hair and teeth, skin are kinda important haha. but that's just me
Tomcat33 Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 :lmao::lmao: Oh, the imagery. Tomcat you crack me up!!:D right. now i just need to start selling pills that 'expand the world.' i'll be rich ! It was your concept that inspired me but I still want a cut if you make it rich, it was my idea, not that I am keeping score or anything.... What if the guy was wearing that spray on hair? Pahahahahah "spray on hair", throw in a spray on tan and you've got yourself a date with a scratch and win lottery ticket. "Gotta gamble in love."
zenith Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 LOL... OP, it's all about confidence, bro Hmm, I always thought of you as being in you mid 20s or something if I remembered right from you past posts. If I'm right that's interesting, if not, sorry. nah, she is not in her mid 20s
SoulSearch_CO Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I have no problem with balding guys. I agree that it bothers guys more than women. Do you guys realize that when a guy starts going bald, it's just an indication that he has more testosterone than average? What in the heck could be wrong with that? LOL
OpenBook Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Do you guys realize that when a guy starts going bald, it's just an indication that he has more testosterone than average? I can confirm that bald (or balding) guys are consistently HOT in bed. Don't know if it's the testosterone or if they're trying to compensate for their own perceived loss of virility... and frankly I don't care what the reason is. It's just THAT GOOD. Oooooh baby!!!! :bunny:
carhill Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 How does facial hair figure into the dynamic? I currently prefer a shaven head and no facial hair (I have a pretty coarse beard). Opinion? I was one of those guys who started losing his hair in his 20's
