what did this mean?

Hi Everyone!

 

I broke up with my ex 9 months ago.We were together for 2.5 years. I am still reflecting on all warning signs that i ignored.

 

What should i have understood by this?

 

-He told me that he loved me in "HIS OWN WAY"

i was caught off guard..i should have asked him -what does that mean?

 

- He felt like we were a married couple-

 

-He felt too comfortable in our relationship- was that a bad thing?

- always talking about his ex-gf from a few years ago( more than 5 years)she is now married, with child.

 

and the million dollar phrase " but i don't want to love anybody" after telling me he loved me( after 2 years!!!).... huh???

- told my friend that he will regret things later on and he was being a coward towards me.

 

be honest ( not too brutal)and tell me what you think please.. was he commitment a phobic or he wasn't that into me?

It does sound like its both. I must say that you sound pretty together. Forget him, you deserve much better!
