I've been running into some nice strangers lately.

Today, it was when I was walking to work at 8am and was waiting for the crosswalk signal. This man starts walking with me and says hi-

I say hi back- and we talk for a block.

In the end, he said it'd be good to see me around, go out for drinks.

BUT he didn't ask my phone number nor did he offered his.

I guess he was waiting for me to give him my number when he mentioned drinks?

Anyhow,,, it's been so long since i was approached by strangers who actually TALK, instead of whistling. haha. I should work on my random talk with strangers more. I find that I tend to talk with more comfort when I'm not attracted to the guy. If I am, I tend to freeze up and just smile awkwardly!!

Any good exercises to become a smooth talker?!

Just smile a lot and pretend that every guy you meet is the chubby pimple faced guy playing with Magic Cards behind you in Math class during your High School years. That should help. Smiling makes people feel more confident for some reason. I talk to random people all the time. Seems like talking to guys as well as girls made approaching girls much easier for me, so maybe you should try chatting up random girls as well as guys? It took a little practice, but I never find myself in a social situation that makes me uncomfortable these days.
