le_caz Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 my ex who dumped me got back in touch recently, after i broke contact for 2 months she asked me to visit her someday and also asked was i going out with anyone. i said the odd girl, no one serious though. the next week she texts again however now she was slipping in hints about gifts she got and a friend of hers is a mechanic who's fixing her car. A lot of her texts were about a new "friend". when she said her friend was a mechanic i was happy for her so i replied ah good that's handy. she didn't reply to this and i haven't heard from her in two weeks, why was she getting in touch with me to basically tell me that she has a new male friend. was she trying to get a rise out of me and why hasn't she contacted me since, i do want to be friends with her she means a lot to me. should i contact her?

She needs to get over you. her problem is that she's trying to yank your chain, and see whether she can still have a pull on you. Leave her be for at least another 6 months. I'm serious.
