Loss 4 words
So here I am now...only like 4 or 5 days until i take that plunge and propose to my GF....and now i've got the jitters...NOT cold feet...(well, it is a bit chilly here...LOL) and Im wondering if there's anything that can calm my nerves...this is a HUGE descision and im gonna follow through... I have the ring, the pics of she and i and the kids and I, everything sans the flowers for V-day, but im getting those tomorrow on order. Any ideas ?? I'm excited, nervous, and jittered to the point that i wanna just sleep away the next few days...
Island Girl
Shots of whiskey may help. And you certainly could sleep afterward. LOL No but seriously - you'll be fine. Just relax. She going to say yes and it sounds like you put a lot of thought into the proposal. Just relax. And best wishes!
interalia
I think deep breathing and some distraction (perhaps physical activity, reading, hanging out with your buddies). I can imagine that it is pretty nerve-racking! Good Luck!
GorillaTheater
I was drunk when I proposed, that seemed to help. The fact that she was also drunk didn't hurt either.
