320 lbs of muscle!!!! How tall is he 6'8? damn that's like Bob Sapp big.

He is 6'3"

And he is supposed to be getting rid of some of that muscle because I worry. I'd like to see him at 285-290. He is much lighter on his feet when he weighs a bit less!

I associate weeping men with the Continent. Laugh a lot, cry a lot, argue a lot.....express themselves in a passionate, uninhibited manner when their football team brings home the cup and emotions are running high. In the right environment, when wine and tears are flowing, and the sun casts a pretty golden glow over it all....pourquoi pas?

When it's an uptight British man wiping away the tears in an embarrassed but defiant "If the frogs can get away with it, so can I" sort of manner, it's a tad more uncomfortable to watch. But still perfectly permissible, of course, to try to let it all hang out.

Usually when I see a man crying in my home town, I assume that he's drunk.

I am a male and I have sometimes have strong emotions including laughing and crying. It is not always when society says it is "supposed to happen". It is not to an extreme degree, but it is more than that of the average male. I think some of this is hard wired into you anyway. I'm never going to be the person who shows nothing and cries once in 5 years.

When it comes down to it, what is more important, being loyal and financially stable or how many times a year you cry? I work hard on improving parts of my personality which are not as good, but showing emotions a bit more than the average male is not one of them.

I love when men can cry. GENUINELY cry that is, not fake it. I don't get all the hype about having to be manly and not cry. Crying's not about being a man or woman - it's about being human.

Of course it's ok for a man to cry my goodness your human and have feelings. I actually think it's great. IMO, it's a such a natural sign of true compassion. Good luck with your new relationship.

I'm not sure why I needed to ask. Of course it's ok to show emotions. It's a small person who judges based on this.
