But then the big strong paws that can make your hands look dainty and tiny are hot, too. My last bf's pinky was significantly bigger than my thumb. His hand could span the width of the small of my back, no problem. HOT.
shadowplay Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 OK, this is going to sound weird, but I really love super Anglo-Saxon male faces. There's something about the shape of the mouth and chin area. The chin tends to be prominent while the mouth is more "sunken in" (I know that sounds bad, but it's not), the lips are finely shaped, the cheekbones are high but hollow beside the lips, the nose is a tad protrusive. Examples...Jude Law and Gavin Rossdale (lower face only), Christian Bale, young James Spader. An intelligent WASPy guy who looks like he could have stepped out of Phillips Exeter but doesn't advertise his wealth is super sexy to me. I know that's incredibly superficial. I guess my preferences really have been conditioned by Hollywood!

I mean hands that are well taken care of, academics have nice clean cut hands with longer fingers. Hands are so closely linked to the brain and I find that the more intellectual the man is the nicer longer shaped hands he has. My last boyfriend was short and yet his hands were long and he was intellectually far above average. I don't know if it has been coincidence or what but I always study people's hands and found this to be a running them with men and see a correlation to their intelligence level with hands.

One detail of male hands I really like when it's there is a sharp right angle to the bone at the bottom of the thumb where it meets the wrist (not sure what it's called).

I like shaggy-haired, large-eyed British men too. Not sure about the noses part. Give me some names! Yes, our tastes do seem similar! Spanish men have the nicest eyes. They're usually large, deep brown and puppy-doggish (but in a good way). Al Pacino is Sicilian, but when he was really young (in his Godfather days) he had eyes like that.

Also: Irish, Scandinavians, Germans, Poles--anything Northern seems to do it for me... The very occasional French guy but most of them are weird IMHO. Oh! I have crushed on some Jewish guys but as I'm not Jewish I have no chance with them. Of course the guy I like right now is none of these things

So more generally my top physical traits are tall, skinnier guys. With tattoos I have a thing for tattoos. And yeah, deep confident voices are sooo hot.

Of course the guy I like right now is none of these things I love good-looking Irish men (George Clooney, young Warren Beatty) with their boyish smiles, but when they're bad-looking they're bad-looking. German and Dutch guys can also be very hot, I agree. Norwegian/Swedish are usually too light for me. Not crazy about French men. They seem to be invariably short and effeminate looking. Polish guys can be very hot. Love their far-apart icy blue eyes with dark brows and blonde hair.

But I think lots of Latin men fit the above description. =)
