Flamenco81 Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Hello everyone. Ok, just wanted some advice. Today I met up for the first time with a girl I met through an online dating site. We have been exchanging emails for some weeks now. We have a lot in common in that we are both quiet, shy and pretty laid back. We have the same sense of fashion, we like similar bands, etc. So anyways today we met to have coffee, talked for a couple of hours, then went to have a casual dinner. It went well, we talked the whole time and I felt it was good. We both seem to be looking for a serious thing, though we didn't talk about it, but I know from reading her profile info back when we started writing to each other. So next Sunday apparently she has a ticket for a concert by a punk band, but she said she was sort of backing out because she didn't want to go alone because they were sort of a more hardcore punk band. So I said I love concerts and that I would get a ticket for myself and we could go together. So she said sure, and so we are going to that next weekend. My questions is, even though we are going to a punk concert which is not exactly an intimate quiet environment, what things should I do to show interest? Little things like maybe holding her hand while walking through the crowd? Or putting my arm around her? Should I try to make a move during/after the show or maybe wait until a more quiet 3rd date? Any advice will be great, thanks.
infophreak Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Do whatever feel comfortable, you already are showing interest by going to the show, don't push it too much in the show, wait for your romance for after the music... just enjoy the damn music.
