I only found the girl I have been raised with since I was 6 months old on FaceBook. We grew up together until we were 6, after that we didn't see each other for years cause I left my country. When I came back although we were still kids our families were still pretty close and we started to meet again. We even spent the New Year's in 2004/05 in Austria and after that I realized that maybe I should've asked her to be my gf. That in fact was the last time I saw her. Since January 2005 NC at all. Since we had such a great time back than I decided to maybe make a move on her back in 2005 but I never did that cause like I said I never saw her again.

She had personal reasons that she kinda disappeared and in one chance that I had to go and see her, I was busy and missed the party although my friends who went there told me that she had asked about me. About an year ago(Maybe more) I found out that she had been studying outside so the chances of me seeing her again were very low although it's not like they were high at any point since 2005. She comes back here from time to time but it seems that I have bad luck and never get the chance to see her, only when my friends tell me that they see her on the street. Anyways like I said yesterday out of totally randomness I found her out on Facebook, sent her a friend request, she accepted. I wrote on her wall but she hasn't replied yet.

Now in my mind the first thing that popped up was the thought of me and her being a couple, the thought I had since I had last seen her. I know it's been years but her status is single and after all I am the first person she grew up with(Besides family). Recently I lost the only girl I truly loved, some of you might know from my previous post. In a way she would be a perfect replacement, I'm not saying that I love her or anything but I have this desire to be with her. What should I tell her if she doesn't reply back on Facebook? If she does, what should I tell her? Oh and also your thoughts on this, if it could actually work or not.

Since you and her have a considerable history, use Facebook only for the first intro. Don't use the public wall, send her a note. "Hi, it's Frankasy! Cool to see you on here! My phone is xxx-xxx-xxxx, email's [email protected]. Let's chat!" or something along those lines.

If she doesn't reply within, say, 3 days, send a quick follow-up: "Hi, Frankasy here. Hope you're doing well. Drop me a line."

If there's no response to that, then, alas, there's your answer. But I suspect that she'll be in contact. What happens after that is anybody's guess.

I see. Well actually I first sent her a message when I found out her profile but she hasn't replied yet. If she doesn't reply for the next 3 days like your saying, I'll give her my email or number.

So what are the chances of this happening? Be honest.

Anything I say about this, one way or the other, would be pure guesswork. I really don't know.
