YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!

You go, girl.

Can you see me across the miles, smiling and nodding and tearing up a bit?

You've made my day! :-)

You know how I am, always living through the words of others!

So here's something else that reminds me of your journey:

Until one is committed

Until one is committed

There is hesitancy, the chance to draw back,

Always ineffectiveness

Concerning all acts of initiative and creation.

There is one elementary truth,

The ignorance of which kills countless ideas

And splendid plans:

That the moment one definitely commits oneself,

Then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one

That would never otherwise have occurred.

A whole stream of events issues from the decision

Raising in one's favor all manner

Of unforseen incidents and meetings

And material assistance,

Which no man (or woman) could have dreamt

Would have come his way.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.

Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.

Wow. What a great and appropriate poem. Loved it. Thank you for that. Tears a plenty, needed tissue. Cleansing. I don't know why but I for some reason am afraid to cry. I stop myself. My daughter does the same thing. She thinks it's because we fear feeling weak. So last nights tears and now today. I'm growing!!!!:)

The author of that poem nailed it. What a genious to be able to put together words to describe something like the process of change. Amazing.

By brain is numb. Just finished the most fascinating article on Parsley and it's many wonderful benefits. ;) I think I shall never look at Parsley the same. The next is garlic. That I think will interest me because of the folklore attached. Nevertheless, each one is a little $ in my purse and that's always a good thing.

It's a gloomy day here, no sunshine at all. But I feel OK. I roasted a chicken earlier and I'm getting ready to ease my mind a bit with my current read. It's a rich story about the wife of a minister. Plenty of humor and lots of interesting twists and turns that don't parallel my life in the least. It's a nice relief.

Don't know if I mentioned the incident with my eyeball. Well, it's all better now. Note to self: close eyes before placing gel pack on face. :o

We'll see what the night brings. I'll be online with the group at 9pm central time. Other than that it feels like its gonna be a jammies and chamomile night.

Be well my friend. And as always....Thank You.

Glad your eyeball is better! However, I'm quite accomplished at accident-prone-ness myself, so it takes a lot to impress me.

;-)

One of my best was after I'd totaled a car by spinning out in a tunnel. After a lot of neck pain, I finally when to the PT guy I'd visited for soccer injuries through the years. Many, many soccer injuries.

Anyway. He gave me a portable traction device that I could never quite get to work; it involved a (swinging) bag of water for the weight, and I think I did more harm than good, just trying to get everything to stay still.

So I left the entire device on the hall floor, until I could take it back. Meanwhile, I was walking barefoot down that same hallway one morning, and my little toe caught one of the metal pieces.

I got slashed, and ended up with 4 stitches. Yes, I hurt myself on the very thing that was supposed to help me heal.

And did I mention the time I accidentally bumped a Melitta coffee cone, filled with coffee grounds and boiling water, and dumped the whole thing on my bare feet? Ouch.

But I digress. I do hope your eye is OK.

So you're a writer? Awesome. Here's an interesting little coincidence. I've been working in government communications for years. Well I was, until I lost my job last year. So I dug up a copy of that poem to remind myself that I really need to get going on a children's book that's in the works.

It actually wrote itself a couple of years ago (before I even realized it was running around in my head) but I haven't taken the next step of trying to send it somewhere. I've got the latest Writer's Market and a little time on my hands..... but I haven't done anything about it. So perhaps we both needed to see those words right now.

I hope your group went well tonight. I'm snug & warm in head-to-toe fleece. I think I have a bit of a fleece addiction... I even bought fleece sheets this year... it's like sleeping on a cloud!

Well, OK, I'm guessing on that.
