MichaelAsh Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 So, in April of 08' i met a nice girl at a bar. We ended of having a nice time and having good conversation. At the end of the night I asked for her number and she gladly obliged. About a day or two later, she had found me on facebook and left me a message that goes as such: "Subj:Heyy =) Heyyy, it was really great to meet you the other night! Give me a call sometime ~ (her name)" I waited a couple days and called her, and told her I was interested in seeing her again, we both tried to fit it in, however, neither of our schedules worked, so i put her on the back burner for a while. That summer I left the country for a while, and when i got back in Aug. I send her a Facebook message telling her where I had been and seeing if she wanted to maybe meet up for drinks, in which she replyed quickly saying yes and showed considerable interest in my traveling. However, once again my schedule filled up and I never got around to calling her. eek! Now, with things simmering down and more time on my hands and more interest in dating, I truly would like to see her. Question: Has it been too long and redundant to ask her once more? Thanks!
iamenough Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 well, there's a good chance you blew it because: "i never got around to calling her" i'm sure she loved that. you could try again.... and if by some stroke of luck she's actually still interested, don't blow her off this time. good luck!
Treasa Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 If you're sure you can make time this time, you could CALL her and say, "I know I flaked out on you, but I'd really like to make it up to you. Let me take you to your favorite restaurant. You pick the day/time, and I promise I'll be there."
pr-girl Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I never got around to calling her. Sounds to me that you weren't really that into her. I'm sure she has taken it that way as well.
