You realize there's no possible way this could work, right? What possible payoff is there for embracing something as intellectually bankrupt as this? At least the personality sorter deals like Keirsey-Briggs-Myers have some basis in theory and are backed up by experimental science.

I have no idea. I believe in astrology about as much as I believe in the fortunes in fortune cookies.

 

Occasionally, I've read the horoscopes in the paper. They are so generic they could apply to almost anyone at any time. Entertaining, though.

Yes..They are supposed to be very compatible however in my case it was not correct. But then again all Virgos and Cappy's are probably not the same. Mr. Latte is a Sag.. wonder what it says about Sag's and Cappy's?:laugh:

Some people are 'cured' when given sugar pills rather than medicine. Doesn't make sugar as good as Ciprofloxacin. There is no possible way the relative direction of a bunch of photons at the time of your birth can influence anything meaningful in your future unless you make it so by choice.

 

What sign am *I* do you think if it's such a precise science?

lol.. Why are you all bothered? Like I said it works for *me* so you don't need to worry much. I would never guess what your sign is. I only read zodiac after I already know what someone's star sign is, to see if their real-life behaviours relate to their zodiac traits.

Derren Brown did a Psychological evaluation on a bunch of young people, (around 10) after asking them for just their names, ages and dates of birth.

He then distributed his readings and the young people were interviewed individually, to gain feedback on his insight.

Some were in tears, some astounded, all were in awe.

He had got so much absolutely spot on... their relationships with their parents, their hopes, visions, dreams and ambitions, their favourite foods, colours, types of members of the opposite sex.

All agreed that he had extraordinary powers of deduction, and astounding perspicacity.

 

Then, they compared notes.

 

All 10 readings were absolutely identical.

I will say this though. Lot's of time my horoscope is right. So perhaps there is some merit in all this?
