Yes,

I have ****ed up beyond all recognition. Me and this girl from work have spent some time together in the past 2 weeks, both times having her over watching a movie...cuddling etc.... Am I making any progress with her no, do I feel like a pussy? Yes Am I pussy? No Why am I being a pussy.. I don't ****ing know.

The 2nd time we hung out, was straight after work, we worked the same shift, I was first cut I went home she gave me a call when she got off and I went back picked her up. We got some food to go and came back to my place and watched a movie. Lame yes, unlike all the other times I've hung out with my crushes, I've never froze up or felt awkward, unlike every time I'm around her. It's just a piss off, because I can never feel myself around her, and I'll always make things awkward, I can't hold a conversation around her, and most of all I probably look like some nice doormat guy around her when really I'm not. Recently I've tried to keep myself busy and tried to not think about her, most of all get over her since I can't see why she would still show any interest in me, hell I see her this Saturday night. I'm not worried about it, i'm not thinking about it but I would really like another shot at this. I do like her...alot

Unfortunately it's a poor substitute for the real thing.

Be careful that you don't get friend-zoned. Time to make a move, dude.

That was the last thing I wanted to hear.

I work with her Saturday night, I don't know what to do or say. Like I said I believe I've messed things up too much.

Wine.

If you don't drink, nows the time to learn.

She probably likes taking it slow. Just relax. You're nervous because you probably haven't liked anybody quite this much before. The stakes have never been higher, but if you don't chillax, and be yourself, you will be instantly transformed into her bestest platonic friend.

That cooled me down alot thanks.

Your telling me it's time to make a move, and now I should take it slow

What do I do?

I'm often contradictory. There are only two things you need to remember - relax and relax. If you can be yourself, then you'll be comfortable in your own skin. You'll be able to read her signs, settle into the mood, and things will flow naturally.

Ummm your title is kind of misleading.

But now that I am here: it's silly how you stress about this when it's really out of your control. I mean if this girl really likes you then almost nothing you do will make much difference. If you tell her tommorrow that you never want to see her again, if she REALLY likes you she will be on LS or phone her friends trying to figure out why you were giving her mixed signals and then obsses over you for months afterwards while writing threads on how she wants to slit her wrists. Anyway, I digress.

My point is: either she is attracted to you or she isn't. If she is, then if you make your move in say 6 months time frame it's all good. If she isn't then you are already in the friend zone and nothing you did or plan to do will make any difference.

So at this point, should I just tell her how I feel and just leave it at that. If I don't she'll lose interest.... If I do who knows?

You definetly should. She already knows if she is interested in you and if you tell her that you are and she is too, it's all good :)

If she isn't then at least you will know and won't waste your time and emotional energy on her.

It's win-win.

Alright done, I'll let her know how I feel. I don't see her at all untill work on Saturday, I supposed I tell her that night when we get off to hangout.

Good luck :bunny:

Let us know how it went!

If I could suggest, maybe don't "let her know" as much as ask a question -- something light like, "So, how do you feel about us going on a REAL date one of these days?" If you can also manage to smile in a sexy manner when you ask, all the better.

This way, your feelings aren't all "out there" if they're not reciprocated, and she (hopefully) won't feel all weirded out if she's not into you in that way. BUT, I hasten to add...BUT, I think she's into you or she wouldn't have been spending all that alone-time with you, cuddling and such.

Another possibility is that she is enjoying your slower approach, and finding it a delightfully refreshing change from the usual "paws all over her" guys.

Good luck!

Well, the 2nd date I noticed that I kinda killed it. We still did cuddle but she seemed to sway away from me a bit more, I didn't feel any connection what'sover partly beacause I made a complete idiot of myself and I don't think she felt any connection either.

I don't know whether she likes me alot, or has no interest in me and is just spending time with me because she knows I like her and feels sorry for me.

Thanks anyways

Just an update,

Worked Saturday night and it was great. We played a game during work who could do table maintenance faster, recorded it. And the person with the most at the end of the day would get dessert. I let her win, but it was a great time. Lots of smiles and I could defenetly feel a connection there. We both had a great time during the shift. I got cut first like usual and hung out at the lounge for my meal while she still worked. I asked her if she wanted to do something after work and she agreed to it. So finally around 9:30 she gets cut, we both chill out in the back room. I wait for my food while she gets free dessert. Things seem to be going well, until she calls her dad to come pick her up. Now I'm confused she said she'd come hang out with me but she calls her dad to get picked up. I know she has a curfew everynight at 11pm, but I find it kind of odd how she would just call for a ride home. It's understandable if she can't come hangout beacuse of her curfew but I would've at least drove her home.

Mixed signals what the **** is going on? I'm confused
