ten2entysikz Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 i want to ask a girl out. i want to do it in from of some people at the end of school. i want to say, "will you give me the honor of being my girlfriend?". how does that sound? any cooler way to ask it?
SoulSearch_CO Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Uh...you haven't been on any actual DATES, but want to ask her to be your girlfriend? First off...I guess it makes a difference how old you are? Also - I don't think asking that kind of a question in front of an audience is fair. Embarrassing for her, but could be for you as well if she says no.
Author ten2entysikz Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 no no, we've dated a few times. we really click. i know for a fact she and i got a thing together
Geishawhelk Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Still, don't say that in front of people. It makes you sound archaic and ridiculous, and could embarass her, which would backfire something bad. Ask her the same question, quietly and in private and it sounds more romantic, considerate and charming. Timing is all.
NewEnglandGirl Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Why do it in front of others? Something like that, should be asked in private.
LSwaha111 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Sounds good, but yes you should ask her in private...maybe after your next date?
runner Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 this sort of talk should be done in private. are you trying to prove something in public ? secondly, try saying that to yourself in front of the mirror about 5 times. you might consider changing the language afterwards
