And I've stated the fact that there is no way if he wants me to choose between him or her, that's not going to happen. He used to be a really good friend, wanting to hang out, calling for no reason just to tell me something goofy to give me a laugh, so on and so forth. I met my current g/f back in October and ever since then he's just started to act differently.

My gf met him and thought he was a great friend of mine, and has not once told me "you can't hang out with him" in fact she's encouraged me to do so, says everyone needs their friends, well I think mine is leaving my side now.

He said he was gonna make a "new" him and be more of a **** but I didn't take him seriously, if he thinks this is a cool/fun idea. It's totally not.

Oh well, not sure what to think, just think I've gained a great person in ,y life, but have lost a friend in the process also.

Sounds like the two events of you getting a girlfriend and your friend turning into a dick are unrelated. However, if you know that the girlfriend is the real reason then just remember that it is possible your friend is jealous of your girlfriend spending so much time with you, which when you think about it, makes him a good friend does it not?

Although I'm still sticking to my original answer. Unrelated incidents, the guys just a dick. Forget about him.

No question it's jealousy.

AND he's a dick.
