Brady_to_Moss Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Next year i may be getting a house with a good friend of mine who happens to be a girl. Now i dont see a problem with this but i was wondering what would happen if i brought a girl back to spend the night with. I am just worried my date might find it weird that its just me and a girl living together...would you find that strange if you were a girl? Would it be a problem with having girls understand this?
Adamagnet Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Why aren't you asking them? Go over proper expectations and you will be happy as long as everyone stays within their boundaries.
Still Trying Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Next year i may be getting a house with a good friend of mine who happens to be a girl. When I moved to a new town I found a female roommate. It was a good situation but a touch weird since we didn't know each other before hand - I think that there was an initial attraction there too that of course neither one wanted to act on, thank god we didn't! After that initial period it was a good living situation mostly and the few girls that I brought home didn't seem to mind it. I think it would be obvious to any woman that you're in a platonic relationship with this future roommate. It is platonic right? A word of advice. Don't sleep with your roommate, and don't talk about her too much!

I just dont want something to happen like me brining a girl back and shes weirded out that i have a girl roommate.
tennisgirly Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 This really should not be a big deal, I am a girl and I my roommate is a guy. We have gotten to be really good friends, and I've never had a guy question me as to why I live with another guy. Don't worry about it!
