chopsuey2468 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hi i'm new my gf of two years and i just entered college. We attend diffrent colleges 15 minutes away. Everything was perfect back home but i am her first Bf but she is like my 6th gf. So we get to college and she starts putting less and less effort in. i wanted to hang out more then she did and when she didnt want to hang out because she was with her cross country team i became smothering and called way to much. We went on a mutual month break and i realized i needed to give her more space. But the day it ended she called me at 12:01 in the morning and was sooo happy to talk to me but when i asked if she would be willing to now visit me once a week or so, she said no, then i gave her an ultimatum (bad idea i now know) and we broke up also it was that time of the month. a month later back home during thanksgiving she called we hung out and liked each other again but she was afraid it was just cuz we were home so we kept in contact back in college until winter break where we went on dates and such back home and tried to carry it over to college. Well same thing happined i did everything and she refused to get into a relationship because "i was the only guy she had kissed". Bt she still wanted me to come over and kiss and go to church with her but not techniqually date. So after half dating her (going over there, watching her do homework, her never coming to my school, her still able to date other guys i decided time to leave. But she would sucker me in because she called me every night telling me she liked me and how she was closer to getting back together. I broke it off with her for a week now although we technically didnt have a reltionship newayz, but now i miss her and called her and she wants me to go to her track meet. I dont know what to do should i try just being freinds or cut it off? she says she likes me a lot just wants no ties in college. I'm so confused. she says she just doesnt want a BF at all. By the way i have gotten over her like 3 times now and am tired of haveing to go this pain over and over. I thought sticking up for myself the first time would have worked plz hlp!
norajane Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 she says she likes me a lot just wants no ties in college. Believe her. She wants to date other guys, so she doesn't want you as a bf. Trying to remain friends with her when you have feelings for her is just going to keep hurting you every time she rejects you. You're her back-up guy. Cut it off and start dating other women. You're more likely to meet a gf if you date other women than to convince her that she should be your gf. She doesn't want that - she wants more experience with more guys.

Thanks a ton and i will try although i called her a few days agp before posting this when i shouldnt have but now next time she calls i'm just gonna say sorry but no contact and yea i hope i find somebody. thanks so much!!!!!!
