lofi_tokyo Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I finally got around to rejecting this guy I absolutely want to date, but have realized since the start wasn't what I am really looking for. Hes cute, friendly, honest, fun... hes got a lot going on that I like but! We always make tentative plans: ie. Let's hang out after you get off work. He bails, doesn't let me know what hes up to, and as I discover, he just goes drinking with his buddies. Wellllllllllll damnit. I have higher standards than that, so I laid the smack down tonight (pretty much saying I think we should just forget about whatever we had going on). We were supposed to hang out but oh! Someone unexpectedly invited him out drinking, and that took precedent. Since then hes been acting completely confused about why I'm not interested... Did he honestly not realize I LIKE him? I thought we made it pretty clear. Anyways I already posted a rant thread on the rant forums, but I guess that wasn't enough so I'm posting here. Grrr! All done now. Onto lusting after new men! ;p
infophreak Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Glad your moving on, but I'd still let him know that if he wants to make plans with you he needs to keep them or you won't make plans with him anymore, Give him one last chance after you've made it crystal clear.
