Justmike101 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 She hasn't shown anything more than platonic interest. Right now it's just totally friendship. We are taking a big exam next week and will meet up tomorrow to study. I hope that something will spark and after the test she would be more relaxed and interested in me. I wont be asking her out until after the test but goodness she is good looking and has a great personality. What can I do to make sure she is interested yet not get in the friendzone? We went to college together and we're not very close but we ended up talking more since we both plan on going to law school.
artchick88 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 If she were interested in being more than just platonic study buddies, she probably would have given you the signal. Unless she is shy. But it seems as though she is a rather good looking girl, and sometimes these types take advantage of boys without any intent other than that. If you want to test it out I would try to hold eye contact with her while studying. If she holds this eye contact for a couple seconds she might be interested but if she seems awkward by this or just shrugs it off and looks away, shes not even remotely interested. Good luck though!

Yeah I don't think she sees me in a romantic way. Whatever I'll just be cool friends with her I don't mind.

MindoverMatter Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 1. Be well prepared and focus on the subject. If she has the feeling that you only went there to flirt, she will not think highly of you. 2. Maybe invite her to coffee when you are having a break. And I mean coffee while on the break. Where are you going to study? Public place? If you go to her house, then bring some snacks. 3. Read her body language. Good luck.
kashmir Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Remember, good looking girls usually have good looking friends, so a friendship isn't all that bad.
