Bluesters Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I was seeing a girl for about 3 months, she broke things off with me. Yesterday morning around 8:00AM while I was driving to work I accidentally dialed her number from my cell, I quick disconnected once I realized who I was calling but it must have went through and showed on her phone as a missed call, later on that day at night, it was around 9:00pm, she sends me a text stating that "I saw that you called this morning, just wanted to make sure everything was okay" Well, she must have been thinking about it all day before she finally sent me the text. I did not text her back last night, but I did text her back this morning stating that it was really a mistake on my part cause I didn't want her to think I was playing games. She responded about an hour later stating "Oh OK no problem, I hope all is well with you. I'm thinking she really didn't have to send me that text last night cause it's not like I left a message or anything. I really appreciate any input.
D-Lish Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I wouldn't read too much into it. She was probably just curious why you had called so early in the morning. If she had wanted to continue dialogue with you she would have text you an open ended question like "how are you?- not a more final "ok, hope all is well with you"
Author Bluesters Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 If she never wanted to continue a dialogue, why even text me to begin with? As far as the curious comment, why would she be curious if she had no interest regardless of what time of day it was? The last text I was reading as not so much a final but more of trying to feel me out without being to open
