81West Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Strangers in Paradise Around the world, millions have gone on-line to create a virtual life for themselves — a simulated fantasyland where the economy booms, the sun shines and everyone looks gorgeous. For many "second lifers," the game is just that, a game. But, for others, it takes on a life of its own. Hana Gartner introduces us to two women who fell in love with their fantasy life and lovers. They gave up everything, husbands and children, to meet the man behind their fantasies. Find out, if the real thing measured up. CBC's Fifth Estate, 9:00 pm Eastern

Owl Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Heck...this is nothing new at all. This is basically the exact thing I went through with my wife almost five years ago. Met someone via an online MMORPG, and was all set to leave the kids and to go live with him...even tho they'd never met in person.
