xero Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I'm graduating from a prestigious university this May and don't really see the point in getting into a relationship when I may be anywhere in the world next year. However, I met a girl from close to home. Grabbed coffee with her to chat about home since we are both far away. We chatted for about an hour. Only thing is when she left there was no lingering to set up another meeting. She left pretty quickly. It seemed a bit final. So that may be a dead end? Any thoughts? I'm not too hopeful at this point.
infophreak Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I'd say give it another go if you thought there was something past the hometown connection, perhaps a dinner or a walk through a park.
Frankasy Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Meh I'd say that she isn't interested. If she was, maybe she would've suggested that you two meet again or left a number or something. I know it sucks but it your case since you're gonna be anywhere due to school, I wouldn't call it as something to keep your mind on. There will be plenty more.
AlektraClementine Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Yeah, I'd say she's probably not very interested.
hotgelato Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I would say, you never know until you ask her out again. She could be holding back because you talked about not knowing where you'll be in May? Did you mention that to her? She probably isn't interested in dating a guy that's going to leave soon. If you are wiling to work around the location/LDR, then call her and see what she's upto. And don't mention about unsure future anymore. It's totally a turn off because girls like to know that something is going somewhere..
