So I dated this girl for like 2 or 3 weeks... things slowed down physically quite a bit. I wasn't really sure why... it's possible she was losing interest or there was another guy or something.

The thing is on our last date I went with her to the mall to get her phone fixed as she was having issues with it. She was going to have to transfer her number to a different phone and mail it in to get it fixed. The next day I sent her two texts with no response... waited a day and tried calling her (busy the first time... no answer the second time - stupid me didn't leave a voicemail).

Now it's been a week and I've pretty much accepted that it's done, but there's this little nagging part in me that says my number was in her phone that she needed to ship off, so there's an off chance that she had no idea how to get ahold of me (although she does know where I live).

I've got really mixed feelings... part of me wants to try calling her again, but another part would be really really embarrased if I just missed a clear "it's over" signal (and also not looking forward to the rejection). Am I crazy in just wanting a bit of closer?

I do know where she lives, so I could write a short note and stick it in her windshield wiper... but that seems a little stalkerish and perhaps a bit too needy/desperate :S

Help!

Pretty bad timing with the broken phone; it sounds like something could have actually gone wrong with that.

Have you ever been over to her place? You could just stop by her place whenever you're sure she's there.

Also, don't you have her e-mail address? Facebook?

All great ideas, but befoire any of the above were ever invented, thought of, implemented or tried, people actually had to resprt speaking face to face.

I know it's a novel idea, but I suggest trying that first.

Go round, knock on the door and say "Hi!"....

Take it from there.....

I sent her one more text an hour ago and said, "Hey xxxx. Umm, are we done? No explanation required if so... just need a bit of closure :)"

If I don't get a response this afternoon I guess I'll do the face-to-face thing. Surely if she got the message and ignored it she'd expect that I'd come over???? I guess I was just worried because we hadn't really moved on to the exclusive stage or anything :S Guess I gotta stop being a chicken and just do it :)

Man, I'm so nervous.... I hate this stuff lol.

Just got a text back... "Sorry, just got my phone back. You're a cool guy but I don't see us in a relationship." and later "Don't be a stranger."

Can't say it comes as a complete surprise, but it still sucks.

Oh well.... locate ego, reassemble, and move on I guess :o Still better than just wondering, though.
