Are you good with keeping contact with friends who have moved away?

How often do you talk or email/facebook?

Do you visit?

I was wondering because I have never been especially good at it. I have a friend who just moved away and I never talk to her. I have been trying to make a big effort to keep in touch but she never respond because she is so"busy".

I understand not being able to have long phone convo but not dropping an email here or there to response esp when I can see she is online sucks.

Should I just let it go?

Yes I do or at least try.

It depends on the friend, there are friends I talk to once in awhile to almost every week. It also depends, I do try to visit but depending on the distance I sometimes can not visit due to distance and costs.

I think it is good to have friends. :)

I have become much better at keeping touch in recent years. I travel a lot and I have friends around the world. Some I chat to a lot, others from time to time. It's no reflection on how close we are but some people like to catch up face to face but find it hard to be patient enough to sit down and type up emails on a regular basis. It's a matter of personality. I like writing so it's no issue for me.

facebook is very useful for keeping in touch. I hated it in the beginning but I've found a way to post stuff that's personal enough but not too much so. I'm also very strict about whom I add. with most of my friends it works
