lilmrcheerful Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Hi, Well, it's been exactly a week since I was dumped and I can honestly say I am feeling quite OK about it, still in "NC" since it happened and I even managed to bring myself to sign onto Facebook and update a few things, added a few new pictures of myself and deleted the ones of me that were on there before so a few more new fresh things to help matters, only strange thing I've noticed is that she's still got me in a relationship with her status but I'm sure she's forgotten to take it off. I've bought some stuff for myself, some DVD box sets to watch when they arrive to keep me occupied, I'm also on the lookout for a new camera so will be busy looking around for that, also will be trying to get out more, managed to get hold of a few old friends too in which I am meeting one of them tonight. Don't get me wrong, I still miss her, however, it's slowly getting easier. Thanks for reading.
Peter_pan Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 glad to hear you know what to do and sound like you will be on the road to recovery rather than a downer
sedgwick Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Wow. At one week I was still sobbing and unable to eat. How is it that one gets over a breakup so fast? Also, the musician spells his name "Timbaland" -- which is, of course, way more hip than "Timberland."
Geishawhelk Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 One does not voluntarily beat one's self up with guilt, remorse, and 'whyme' questions.
