frenchgirl Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 As some of you may know, I've been wondering about this guy at the office. We are going out for lunch on almost a weekly basis (5-6 times so far) and he is always so nice to me. He pays for my meal, acts very professionally but keeps smiling at me... Last Friday he took me out for lunch again and at some point I mentioned I wouldn't mind doing something after work some day... He didn't exactly react or say anything... Do you think I was too forward with him, or perhaps not enough? Thanks for your help!!!
RonZilla Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Maybe hes just a shy guy. I had a girl once at work, she was into me she kept on flirting me and txting me and once when we were having a break together in the lunch room after several coversations she said " I really want a boyfriend right now " while she was looking at me. I didn't say anything at all and looked somewhere else, after that the flirting and txting stopped. But I wasn't into her anyway so it wasn't much a problem for me. We still MSN every now and then if we see each other online but not much more than that
Author frenchgirl Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 Thanks, RonZilla. Can anyone else pitch in on this?
Girlygirl1977 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 If he is the one who initiates your lunch dates, then I would wait to see how he acts. You said it loud and clear and if he has a history of being able to initiate etc - I would see what he does as he can. . .Being perceived as being pushy usually doesn't look too attractive if that is the case.
chrislovestosurf Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 ask him again in casual manner. If you like him its worth it right? Some guys need to be pushed a little
