Lauriebell82 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I think I am going to visit my best friend in California in March and am sooo excited!! The tickets are very inexpensive!!!! My boyfriend discuss with me last night that his friend talked to him about going to China to visit a girl. Since BF has already been there (a study abroad trip) he asked him he'd like to go with him. So BF asked me this and he was shocked that I told him that he could go. Then I also added that I had wanted to go visit my best friend, so I think I'll go the week that he goes! That's fair I think. Stopping someone from going on a trip when you are dating is controlling I would think. YAY, I am so happy to make my own plans and have my own life!!!

I've been to China before and I'd personally prefer California because 1) its a shorter plane trip 2) you don't have to squat to pee (in china the toilets are basically just a hole in the ground) and 3) you don't have to deal with the language barrier....oh AND you get to see your friend!

Yeah, I wouldn't really want to go to China anyway. I kind of flipped out about the Las Vegas trip so I tried to act supportive this time...and added I wanted to go see my friend. He got this shocked look on his face, like "where the hell did my gf go?" The rest of the night he was so lovey dovey, he told me how much he loved me and wanted to cuddle and watch tv the whole night instead of play video games. Oh the flight is real reasonable too! Only $200 round trip! Plus I get to stay with her so I don't have to pay for a hotel!
