4givrnt4gtr Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 My bf made tentative plans with me for today. He said we could go to have lunch today before he met up with his friend in the evening but he would call me and let me know. So at 2 i texted him if I was going to be seeing him. He said yes, but later. I asked what later meant and he said 8pm. I was assuming he would come to my place from seeing his friend but he just called me, told me he was watching tv and whether I wanted to come over or if I wanted him to come to my place. It sounded like he really didnt want to drive out. I agreed to come to his place (45 minutes) but now I dont know if i should go. For one...its so late! two, he doesnt seem to like it when I stay over. He just moved there and its kinda a weird roommate thing. One bathroom shared for 3 people, etc. So bassically, id be driving out there, get there at 8, drive back at midnite (I also have to work early tomorrow so that doesnt help). Then, Im kinda sick. I was getting better but yesterday I got really bad again. Now im ok again but im thinking is cuz of the medicine im taking...so I dont know... Third...wasnt that kinds of a douchebaggie thing to do?? whats up with lunch turned into the last thing you do for the day??? I dont know..and I feel that if i go, Im just encouraging that kind of thing... Input??
joeLove Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Seems like you both need to have some serious talk about the state of this relationship ... Can't you just tell him, you are not feeling well ... and rest at home for now? You can set up something else for later, when you are feeling better...
sultry33 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 yeap agree with above poster I need time to plan my outfit etc if i was moved from lunch to dinner then oh you can pop over yea id be put out.. seems he is not great at keeping dates. If i was ill id arrange it for another time say something like "its ok im actually feeling unwell, so can we do this... another time?" then make sure he sticks to the time;)
Geishawhelk Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 How far away does he live....? Never seen a leash that long.... but even if he yanks it 'over there', you still seem to feel the sharp tug 'over here'......
