I've set a number of New Year's resolutions, most of which I am making steady headway, a few which are slower moving but not stagnant.

And you?

I started an exercise routine - at least 30 minutes at least 3X a week

oh and I told my b/f it was time to poop or get off the pot, so he chose to get off the pot.

A whole new world (which I'm seeing through my tears).

Taking ownership of the choices I have made in creating my own life. Taking command of my own life to create it the way I want it to be. Exercising and seeing my friends. Going to sleep on time. :)

I'm going to get a short, short haircut!

If you're going to cut it, would you consider donating it, i.e. Locks of Love.

I'll be disappointed but not my hair. :)

What I'm doing in 2009? Same as 2008, do something fun and cross off another item on my todo list.

I'm not serious about cutting it but if I did, yes, I would donate for certain!

I guess you saw a pic of it, when I posted it in my profile a long time ago.

As for improvements for 2009, I'm going to see if I can't improve on my fund raising for charities...aka...nagging to corporate donators!

Oh yeah, ditto... I'm aiming to be on a board and laying ground work for something bigger in 2010.

Well so far I've managed to stick to a diet, I changed my hair completely and I'm organising a trip overseas for the end of the year. Not anything that deep and meaningful but all things I am happy about which is a welcome change from the last couple of months of 2008.

I've expanded my workouts to include core classes, spinning classes and yoga. I'm enjoying my life and have some goals I am looking forward to achieving. Most of all, I'm resolving to be happy, no matter what else happens.

Also, I want to stop saying "Yep", "You Know", "Anyway" and otherwise speak more clearly....

Oh and as a result of another thread, I want to be considered a 'bangable treat' before 2009 is up...

Posted

1) Lose a bunch of weight and start to develop a somewhat toned look, which will be a first for me. (Three weeks on Atkins... down 10 lbs so far.)

2) Learn to play the guitar. I've had access to acoustics all my life but never got into it much because the music I love is all electric rock. So, in late December I bought myself an inexpensive electric guitar and amp. Been having a great time with it so far.

3) Travel to Tanzania in the fall and climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. It's been years since I've left North America, and I've never been to Africa.
