Hey,

Iv been doing a little bit of dating recently, and generally im always quite nervous when it comes to setting it up, and pretty much about the whole date. But this one girl, was different...

Today I went on a first date, and it felt too natural. Calling her wasnt any harder than calling someone i'v known for years. I just met her a few days ago, but when I'm with her, it seems like we've known each other for a while, like im already too comfortable.

Now, I kinda want that nervousness back because it made me think about what I'm talking about, and have everything pre-planned. But, this, I just winged it, discussed whatever came up, and we ended up talking for a couple hours at the coffee shop. Today I felt like i was too 'me', and not trying to impress the girl like people normally would. There were still some awkward moments, but thats a different story. I am interested in this girl and do plan on going on a second date, but nothing set up yet.

Does this mean anything, like I somehow have the mindset of her being a friend.. or have I just gained some more confidance?

Thanks

Why would you want to fight this? It seems like you've just found someone you've really clicked with. And you shouldn't worry about trying to not being yourself to impress her. Eventually, that front will come down and she'll have to accept who you are anyway.
