However, to simply fart and fart as if the other person doesn't deserve as much respect as those who you meet in public is saying that "You who are the one I love the most doesn't deserve as much courtesy as those who I don't even know." Accidental farting and burping is okay, but an "excuse me" shows that it is not meant as a lack of respect.

What it boils down to is: Do you find potty humor amusing or not? If yes then fart away. If not, other room please. BUT I think we can all agree that dutch ovens and "waving" farts needs to go.
