annieo Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I'll seriously order whatever I feel like. First date with my ex, I ordered a steak. There is some truth in the salad order though. Some girls don't want to come off as looking like a piggy. I think I ordered a cheesecake for dessert as well. Oh, and about 5 pints. You're my kind of girl, D-lish. Nothing wrong with having a healthy appetite. First date with my exh I ordered calves liver (with onion and prunes - I kid you not - it was a bistro type place, and the food was awesome). And I seem to remember many glasses of wine. I think I broke some rule about not ordering organ meat on a first date That Saturday night date turned into 24 hours of being together without break. Then eventually, marriage and two gorgeous kids. And 10 years later, divorce. Maybe it was the liver.
D-Lish Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I never get salad on the 1st date, somehow I think it seems high maintenance & I dont want to look like a calorie counter. What does a guy think when you get a burger, well-done, with fries? Apparantly it makes us uninterested piggies!
anne1707 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I think I broke some rule about not ordering organ meat on a first date . But sometimes you just have to go for it :D:D
Citizen Erased Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I never get salad on the 1st date, somehow I think it seems high maintenance & I dont want to look like a calorie counter. What does a guy think when you get a burger, well-done, with fries? Does it have to be a burger? I never order messy food when I eat in public. A steak is far easier to eat.

Taramere Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Just got back from brunch....she ordered the salmon salad. Enough said You know that word association thing that improve-your-memory experts recommend? I've used it so much, that sometimes it results in me recalling things I don't necessarily want to recall. But I get so haunted that I have to conduct further research in order to get some answers. Reading your post (I'm late to this thread) two words instantly sprang into my mind. 1. Tuna 2. Cannery. So I reluctantly carried out a Loveshack search on the words alpha tuna cannery, and found... http://www.loveshack.org/forums/showpost.php?p=791468&postcount=14 Bingo! A high percentage of women you have slept with smell of fish. This can be caused by the consumption of high amounts of choline - which is found in various foods, but particularly eggs and fish. So women who enjoy, and regularly eat, fish may be more likely to....well, smell of fish. Were there also slices of hard boiled egg in the salad she ordered?
Trimmer Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I think I broke some rule about not ordering organ meat on a first date Actually, many women have a pretty strict rule about not doing anything with organ meat on the first date. Taramere Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 You are bizarre and wonderful, all at once. Thank you....but sadly I didn't make any of it up. I'll forever associate alphamale with tuna canneries now.
