Blondie0315 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I have posted once before, but it has been a while. I have been dating this guy on and off for about 3 months. We are both teachers at the same school. He is also hispanic and not a US Citizen yet...he is here on a work visa. He dumped me about 4 weeks ago, b/c a coworker saw us out together and was making fun of us being together. So, my guy freaked out and thought he would lose his job, so he dumped me. It was 3 days later and he was asking me to take him back and he was sorry. So, I told him to not visit me at school as much as he use to, that way he wouldn't be stressed as bad. He has done a great job with listening to me about that and hasn't visited me at school since we started back. Anyway--there are weeks that he is totally into me and will call me and IM me all the time. He even bought me a late Christmas present. We went out last Saturday night and I stayed the night with him for the first time, nothing happened though, we just slept in the same bed. Earlier this week, I sent him a message to see if he wanted to go with me to my aunt's retirement party on Saturday. He sent me a message back seeing if I wanted to go to the mountains with him and his friends on Saturday. He hadn't called me all week, so I finally called him on Thursday and the first thing he says to me is, "It's a miracle..it's a miracle...you actually called me." Which ticked me off a bit, because I have called him several times. I then asked him if he wanted to go with me to the party and he said no, he didn't think he wanted to go. He said he was going with his friends to go hiking. So, I then told him that we didn't have to work on Monday, because it was a holiday. He didn't know that and then I just made the joke, "Yeah, it would be funny if you showed up to work on Monday and nobody is there." He then went on to tell me that they have holidays where he comes from and they get those holidays off from work too. He just didn't have time to check the calender because he was busy. I felt like he had got his panties in a wad, when it really wasn't needed. So, he then told me to have a good night and hung up the phone without saying good bye. So, yesterday, I didn't see him at work, but he was online later. I sent him a message, "Hi...I hope you had a great day! I will talk to you later." He didn't send me anything back. I don't know if he is mad at me or what. So, my question is, should I attempt to call him tomorrow, since I know he is with his friends today or should I wait for him to call?? Also, I am new to this whole relationship thing (he is as well), so is it normal for a guy to be into you one week and then the next week pay you no attention?? Last time this happened, he dumped me...so, he is either mad at me or about to dump me or I am overanalyzing the situation. Thanks for any advice you can give!

This guy has already ditched you like a million times. How many more times are you going to beg him to go out with you?
