FrankyS Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Hi there, Ok so I have this annoying situation with this girl. She is texting me everyday, but I don't know why. I knew she used to like me about a year ago, but I don't think she does anymore. The funny thing is I really like her. I sorta told her how I felt and she said something like "Oh I dont think you'd like me" and she always talks to me about another guy all the time that she seems to like, but she tells me shes a bit confused about it. So I don't get it, does she just like to text me because I'm nice and just wants to be friends? Another funny thing is we have barely spoken to each other in person..it's just always texting..she just doesnt seem to keen to hang out in person. what the hell is going on? I know this is a bit silly, but any advice would be cool.
fivefive Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 yea i can relate to your situation. this girl who i like never really talks to me in person as much as she used to for some reason or antoher. however if i IM or text her she can talk for AGES. IDK i can't really help you because I'm kinda in the same boat as you but I can relate to how you're feeling.
prettybaby Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Is she younger than 23? Sounds like the typical immature behavior where she likes you but does contradicting things that don't really make much sense. The heavy texting definitely indicates that she has a bit of a thing for you though.

Yeah fivefive like maybe if she was a bit shy or whatever I could understand, but this girl im talking about is the complete opposite of shy...maybe shes just a little unsure of herself or something. Yeah shes 22, but I refuse to believe that someone of that age would play silly games like that. She quite often mentions this guy she was seeing quite a lot and it puts me off, otherwise I would ask her out. She seems to be into him, but why would she text me about it, like we are not even friends really. I'd rather she'd just not text me at all actually if she doesn't want to see me in person. sigh...
