rebe84 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 So I have a question. No matter the age different between the two of you after a breakup or how long you dated. Does the guy always mean that he will be happy if you were to find someone else? Is that a test to see if the girl will find another man to date? If a guy breaks up with a girl that he loves and cares about and the girl did nothing wrong..does that mean he will realize his mistake and want to get back together?
Knight_Ctrl Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 to ask someone to realize their mistake is asking a lot. It may never happen. I thought maybe my ex would, but here I am three months later and not so much as a call or a text unless I do first. Assume they won't realize their mistake and move on....its best for you.
Prim&proper Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I think that also assume that the breakup is indeed a mistake. I think most people break up with others for a reason-- even if it's one they cannot articulate. It may be that someone didn't feel right on their end. It's the dumpee that characterizes it as a mistake when the dumper thinks it's the best decision. Maybe I'm incredibly cynical now, but I think love isn't enough for a relationship to work. Just because they love you a lot doesn't mean in their mind, it's a bad thing to break up.
