MindoverMatter Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Whether a gift is good or bad is mainly determined by whether or not the person receiving it, likes it. If it would be for you, moving, it would indeed be bad, but since it isn't you can't possibly know if it "suxx" or not. Personally, I like the idea. It's not overdone, it is what she wants and what he knows she'll like. A gesture of true feelings, that simply happens to be made on a day where many people do the same.
CandyGirlXO Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 The picture is of us kissing. she only has it on her phone but she's been wanting a physical copy for the longest to place in her room. It's just going to be a small maybe a bit smaller than wallet sized photo of us kissing. I would blow the picture up, and frame it nicely I don't think its cheesey, I think its very thoughtful of you. But I am easily pleased.
CandyGirlXO Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 No, look, that isnt going to work. Take her to dinner as planned. Ask the manager if you can bring in your own dessert because it is a special occasion. When deesert is brought out she will be thrilled that it is her Oreo, especially since it isnt something they offer. Get a 5x7 of the picture, sign it with something sweet right on the front corner, frame it and wrap it up to give her during dessert. Simple, thoughtful, and romantic. Cannot fail. Great idea
