sarabear86 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I was thinking the other day, in my experience all men that i've dated and have broken up with me have wanted me back sometime after 5 months ish...at least that's when they would start telling me they missed me again etc. They always tell me it's because they realized i "wasn't there anymore". Do all men do this? I'm starting to think the only way men (and probably some woman) realize if they love someone is after not having them around anymore...and does it just depend on which man you wait for and take back in the end as to which you truly love and end up with?
carhill Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 If they were having sex with you when you broke up, they miss the sex. If not, my bet is they wouldn't miss you at all. Probably, they moved on to someone else and that didn't work out, so you were a familiar branch to grasp. Men like the familiar Take it from someone who's an expert at it....waiting is no panacea. Get out there and make your own success in love. Don't wait for it to come around (or get back with) you.

I have mixed feelings about this. I dated a guy for 3 months after I broke up with ex and a few months later he contacted me and said he missed me. (he broke up with me) I didn't get back with him. IMO if they really love you they wouldn't let you go in the first place.
