Riffmeister General Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I was watching TV and saw there was an episode of South Park coming on. I haven't watched that show for MONTHS, and it was 'Raisins', the bloody episode I got my quote from, where Wendy breaks up with Stan. I've never seen it before, and on my darkest day since the break-up, the one day I decide to watch an episode, it's this one! Thought that was a bit bloody coincidental. Anyway, I've always found the morals that come from that show to be worth listening to, and this one was pretty good... "I love life...Yeah, I'm sad, but at the same time, I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It's like...It makes me feel alive, you know. It makes me feel human. The only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt something really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good. So I guess what I'm feeling is like a beautiful sadness." Just thought I'd share that with anyone having as bad a day as me. Bit early for me maybe. Felt like the moment she broke up with me all day.

Sari Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I watched that a couple of days ago as well! Over here in good old England. I wasn't sure I could hack it at first but the bit with Butters and Stan at the end always warms my heart, so I'm glad I went through with it. Also seeing Cartman stuffing his face with Quaesadillas, oblivious to the hot waitresses at Raisins, always makes me laugh, as it reminds me that there are more important things in life than chasing after the opposite sex, namely a big yummy plate of food!
Goatsbreath Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 haha, that's a good way to put it I guess. I have not really watched that show in a while either but lately over the past two weeks I find myself watching it again. Maybe there is some healing to be found there........
