I recently spoke to a person about getting promoted and taking on additional study, and study support. She was very positive about the company I am going to work for.

I was happy then I realise she was a hot chick. Very attractive, and only young. She also started out in a position much lower than mine which was basically making coffee ect for the higher ups.

I take it as a positive sign for the company, but, should I take what she said with a grain of salt ?

Do hot chicks really get promoted a lot faster and have an easier time ? I hear they do, but I am not sure and I don't want to have sexist thoughts.

But as she was saying it all I could think was ' I wonder why ?'.

She might have been an intern?

When I was an intern, I did crappy jobs and sometimes I still do. :lmao::lmao:

In the old days, one could have started in mailroom and with hard work and real skills, become the president of the company.

Now reality is "hot chicks" and "hot guys" do tend to get promoted faster compared to average and ugly people of the same skills.

I'm not going to lie. All other things being equal, an attractive person will most often reap the benefits of employment - everything from getting the job to begin with, to moving up in the ranks - at a faster pace than someone who's unattractive.

Nah, she does not even have a degree. I'm tall and dark. Not pretty though. Always figured that worked against me.

Sounds like a smaller company or maybe she is related to someone there. ;)

Don't let those that don't have degrees fool you, some of them might have started the business and yet have a front person.
