When we first met up I invited her to an outing that my friends organised, however it was just us 2 together talking most of the night while the rest were off in their own group. Me and this girl have, however, known each other for a few years and gone to school together, but this is the first time we've done non school related stuff out of class. I'm not sure how to end after we finish our dinner. I know I will walk her home for sure as we are neighbours, but I am not sure how to end things. Is a kiss expected at the end of such things? Thanks for any advice, as you can probably tell I haven't had much experience with dating.
likestolaugh Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 If it's uncertain, and things go well... I suggest maybe ending it with a kiss on the cheek. But that's just me... unless it's mad chemistry, I don't go for the full on kiss too early.

Give her a nice bear hug at the end of the date and a nice kiss on the cheek. Then gauge her for a moment and see if you can kiss her on the lips. If she kinda backs away, let her loose and tell her you've had a wonderful evening

I'll walk her to her door and give her a hug and kiss on the cheek, then I'll gaze into her eyes and see if she wants more. That should hopefully let me save myself if it turns out she isnt interested in me I would be quite dissapointed if she wasn't though, as I really do have quite a crush on her

Do let her know you would be willing to kiss on the lips. Most of my friends read it as a lack of interest when a guy doesn't even hint at kissing them after a date.
